ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SEMINAR
MHSHS always has something interesting happening. Ms. Garima Prasai from IBM Watson recently came in after school to give a talk on, "Cognitive Computing and the Next Era of Technology! Perhaps you remember when IBM Watson's supercomputer actually beat, OK creamed, Jeopardy's top contestants!
Students from our school's award-winning Robotics team, Technology club and interested Juniors and Seniors listened intently as Ms. Prasai described strides being made in areas like the medical field where thanks to the use of artificial intelligence is being used to properly diagnose patients. There was much more and of course MHSHS students asked intelligent questions about "Artificial Intelligence." Ms. Prasai was very impressed with our students and the questions they posed about where this technology is taking us!
Curious and wanna know more about this subject? Speak to Ms. Wilks who arranged this cool seminar!
