throughout their time at MHSHS, students take a variety of classes that challenge and improve their abilities to read, write, and think in the modern world.

Curriculum at MHSHS is teacher-generated, and each course takes its own shape to introduce and expand students’ knowledge through coursework .

Graduation Requirements

In accordance with the requirements set by the New York State Department of Education, students must take and pass a minimum of 5 Regents Exams to qualify for a diploma. Students take these regents throughout their three years on the high school campus.

AP Courses

MHSHS offers both teacher led and self-study AP courses. Course availability changes every year. Please see our department pages for information on available courses.

Grading System

While all grades can be found on Jupiter Grades, each teacher and department determine their grading categories, weights and late policies. Please consult your child’s teachers for more information on grading and class expectations.
