Global 9 | Non Regents Course

Global 10 | REGENTS COURSE

In this course, students investigate significant global events, individuals, developments, and processes from 1200 to the present. Student develop and use the same skills and methods employed by historians; analyzing primary and secondary sources; developing historical arguments; and making historical connections.

US History 11 | Regents Course

In this course, students investigate significant American events, individuals, developments and processes in nine historical periods from approximately 1491 to the present. Student develop and use the same skills and methods employed by historians; analyzing primary and secondary sources; developing historical arguments; and making historical connections.

Ap Government 12 | AP Course

In this course, students examine American identity, the functions of the American government, who has power within it, and how its institutions respond to conflict, inequality, and change. Through close reading and discussions, students analyze foundational texts and contemporary writers’ competing arguments about majority and minority rights, representation, justice, and citizenship.

Self Paced Study Options: AP World History Modern & AP US History

10th and 11th grade students have the option of completing a self-paced study curriculum to prepare for the AP World and AP US History exams. Students complete this work independent of teacher instruction and are still responsible for their individual coursework.
